What Were You Looking For?

This is a very simple prompt. Try writing using this as your opening line:

What were you looking for in your mother’s room?

This may be a good prompt to read and let brew for half a day before you sit down to write. Or it may spark something in you immediately, in which case, go! See where it takes you.
